Payment Mode
Payment for loans is done through cheque.
Members’ savings payment is done through the GROOTS SACCO Paybill using the following process.
M-Pesa Procedure
- Select the PayBill option.
- Enter Busines no. Type in 638160.
- Enter a/c no. Type in contributor’s National Identity Number.
- Enter amount. Type in the amount you wish to contribute.
- Enter pin. Type in your Mpesa Pin.
Confirm all details are correct then press OK

How do I join the SACCO?
Joining the SACCO, Members are given a registration form which they fill out and attach a passport photo and a copy of their ID card.
How much is the registration fee?
A registration fee of Kshs. 1,000.
How can I apply for a loan?
Download loan application form from the Sacco website, fill the form, attach all the required documents and submit it to the office for the committee to approve/decline the loan.
What is the Share Capital
The share capital is the Institutional capital of the Sacco. Each and every member is mandated to purchase a minimum shareholding of 1 share each share is Ksh5,000.
A member is allowed a maximum of 4 shares equivalent to Kshs20,00
Is the share capital refundable?
The share capital is non-refundable and is only transferable to an existing Sacco member or sold to a Sacco member when you cease being a member.
